This Privacy Policy explains how Randy Castillo, an individual sole proprietor operating the Rovin product (“Rovin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information collected through rovin.pro and the private-beta interest form.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Your email address.
- Optional information you choose to include in a message or feedback.
- Technical information supplied by hosting and security systems, such as IP address, browser, device, and request logs.
- Email delivery, unsubscribe, bounce, and suppression records.
Please do not submit confidential, health, financial, employment, or other sensitive information through the interest form.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Confirm and administer private-beta interest requests.
- Contact selected participants about eligibility, onboarding, feedback, or support.
- Prevent abuse, secure the Website, and troubleshoot failures.
- Maintain unsubscribe and suppression records.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use the interest form to create a Rovin account.
Service providers
We use service providers for website hosting, security, and email delivery. The interest form sends the minimum information needed for those purposes. Our email provider is Buttondown. Hosting and security services may process technical request logs.
We do not sell interest-list email addresses or use them for unrelated third-party advertising.
Retention
Our operational targets are:
- Unconfirmed or unactivated interest requests: delete from the active Buttondown list within 30 days.
- Confirmed but unselected requests: retain only through the beta wind-down period, normally no longer than 90 days after the beta closes.
- Selected-participant acceptance records: retain as reasonably necessary to document authorization, security, disputes, and legal compliance.
- Unsubscribe and suppression records: retain only as needed to prevent unwanted re-mailing.
- Support and security records: retain under the applicable support or security-retention process.
Provider backups and security logs may persist for a limited period under the provider’s ordinary retention practices.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe using the link in an email or by writing to support@rovin.pro. We will process an opt-out promptly and no later than the period required by applicable law.
Your requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information by contacting support@rovin.pro. We may retain limited information when necessary to honor an unsubscribe request, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or comply with law.
Children
The private beta is limited to people who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
